Return and Refund Policy

  1. Introduction

At Apodytes, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. We source our products from trusted suppliers, such as Esquire, to offer high-quality goods. This Return and Refund Policy outlines our straightforward process for returns and refunds, whether you’ve changed your mind or received a defective product.   1. Return Eligibility

You may return products under the following conditions:

  • Change of Mind: Within 7 working days from delivery, products must be unused, in their original sealed packaging, with all accessories and documentation included.
  • Defective or Damaged Products: Within 6 months from delivery, per CPA Section 56, if the product is defective, damaged, or not as described. Contact us immediately at info@apodytes.co.za to initiate the process.
  • Undelivered Items: If your order is not delivered due to our error, contact us to request a refund or redelivery (see our Shipping Policy).
  1. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for change-of-mind returns (unless defective or due to our error):

  • Software (e.g., software downloads, licenses).
  • Consumables (e.g., batteries, ink cartridges) if opened or used.
  • Personalized or customized items.
  1. Return Process

To return a product:

  • Step 1: Contact Us – Email info@apodytes.co.za within 7 working days (for change-of-mind) or 6 months (for defects) to request a return authorization and instructions.
  • Step 2: Package the Item – Securely pack the product in its original sealed packaging with all accessories and documentation.
  • Step 3: Ship the Item – You are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. For defective or incorrect items, we will cover return shipping after verification. Use a trackable shipping method for safety.
  • Step 4: Inspection – Upon receipt, we will inspect the product to confirm eligibility. You will be notified of the approval or rejection of your return.
  • Step 5: Refund or Replacement – Approved refunds are processed within 7-14 working days. For defective items, you may choose a refund, repair, or replacement, per CPA Section 56.
  1. Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit card or EFT). For EFT payments, we may request your bank details to process the refund. Refunds may take 7-14 working days to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider. Delivery costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

  1. Restocking Fees

A restocking fee may apply for change-of-mind returns or cancellations after order processing, particularly if the product is not in its original sealed condition or the return is outside the 7-day window. Fees will be communicated before processing and deducted from the refund.

  1. Shipping Costs

You are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. If the return is due to a defect, damage, or our error, we will cover return shipping after verification. Original delivery costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns, per CPA Section 20.
